佐藤の自己紹介です。興味のある奇特な方へ :-P
とってもありふれた苗字です。 大学では同じ学科に同姓同名(漢字は違う)がいましたし、 読みだけで検索すると、同じ名前の人はたくさん出てきます。
中学以前の友人には名前で呼ばれますが、それ以降だと苗字で呼ばれます。 自分から名乗る時は、一応言うようにしているしているのですが、 なぜか名前は間違えられること(漢字が読めないとか、 名字が違うとか)が多いです。 いろいろと理由があるのですが、佐藤から訂正することはありません。 苗字も名前も同じ人がたくさんいますので、呼び方はご自由に。 email は「佐藤@東京理科大学」の名前で出しています (所属が変わったら、多分これも変えます)。
2007/02/10 現在、 東京理科大学 理工学部 電気電子情報工学科 助手です。 同大学 兵庫研究室に在籍しています。

FreeBSD Project に committer として参加しています。 佐藤の担当は日本語文書です。英語文書の翻訳や、 FreeBSD 関連の日本語文書の管理に関するお手伝いをしています。
また、2004 年から Release Engineering Team と Documentation Engineering Team のメンバとして、 2006 年からは Core Team のメンバとして活動しています。
OpenBSD Project に関する活動を (個人で勝手に) 行なっています。 具体的な内容は、主に www.OpenBSD.org 日本語翻訳プロジェクトへの協力や、 OpenBSD は日本国内における情報源が少ないことに端を発した 日本の OpenBSD 情報の提供などです。 また、国内 CVSup サーバ cvsup.jp.OpenBSD.org と、 国内 www ミラーサーバ www.jp.OpenBSD.org の管理人です。
The NetBSD Project に developer として参加しています。佐藤の担当は日本語文書と doc 関連です。
DragonFly BSD Project に committer として参加しています。佐藤の担当は IPv6 stack です。
*BSD のソースツリーや FTP コンテンツを配布している allbsd.org の管理人です。 BSD 由来の OS である FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, DragonFly BSD の他、KAME, Samba, Rsync, distcc などのソースの閲覧やダウンロードができます。
コンピュータ関連の技術文書翻訳者に情報交換の場を提供する Doc-ja Archive Project の管理をしています。 これは Ring Server の主宰する Open Laboratory の一つです。
研究室はアナログ集積回路と組み込みマイコン、 信号処理がメインのところです。いろいろ手を出してますが、 目下の中心テーマは mixed-signal CMOS 集積回路における高機能アナログ回路の研究です。
2004 年 9 月 28 日に発売。Michael W. Lucas 著「Absolute BSD」の邦訳版。 翻訳と加筆・修正を担当。
2002 年 6 月号より 2007 年 1 月号まで連載。
